Yunnan Gold Tips Black Tea

Yunnan Gold Tip Black is a pleasant-drinking tea with large, attractive leaves and plentiful gold tips. It is perhaps the smoothest of all the Yunnan teas. Full-bodied with a rich, lingering aftertaste.

This tea is grown in the southwest mountainous area of Yunnan province in China, where wild tea trees hundreds and perhaps a thousand years old are still vigorous. This area is sometimes referred to as the "birthplace of tea." Yunnan is a misty, mountainous province (the yun in Yunnan means "cloud"). This area borders Vietnam, Laos, and Burma and has grown tea for 1700 years.
